About The Show

The Steve Harvey Show revolves around Steve Hightower (Steve Harvey), a musician whose career as a member of the Hi-Tops didn't ever quite hit the necessary high note. Down on his luck, Hightower makes a tough decision. He gives up years of life on the road, with no responsibility to his name, and takes a job. Through his longtime friend and eventual roommate, gym coach Cedric Robinson (Cedric the Entertainer), Hightower takes the teaching stage at Booker T. Washington High.

At first, he's stunned by the students, whose hijinks are even more outrageous than their wardrobes. And he constantly butts heads with Principal Regina Grier (Wendy Raquel Robinson), his gorgeous new boss who was once the overweight butt of his practical jokes in high school...and who hasn't ever forgotten. But Steve Hightower eventually gets more comfortable with being a teacher, learning to take each day one at a time and developing a rapport with his students and peers that goes beyond the classroom.
