Monica Denise Arnold, the youngest female artist to have two hits top the R&B Billboard charts, was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1998, she climbed and stayed number one for three consecutive weeks on R&B Billboard charts with “The Boy is Mine” a duet with singer Brandy. In addition to being a platinum selling artist, she’s been awarded countless American Music, Soul Train and Billboard Awards. Monica also earned a Grammy Award with this history making track. Monica is currently in the studio finishing her sixth album, Still Standing to be release in 2010. |
