ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) - Easter is a time many families gather at home and in restaurants for a special, shared meal. Here’s a list of restaurants in metro Atlanta that are offering special menus on April 17:
Bellyard in West Midtown is hosting an Easter Brunch in Drawbar featuring smoked salmon benedict, shrimp and grits, smothered chunky biscuits and an apple spinach salad. A build-your-own bottomless mimosa bar will also be available for $40 per person. Diners will be treated to live music from Scotty Paulk and have a chance to create the perfect Easter bouquet with Bloom Bar.
The Capital Grille is offering Easter specials including lobster frittata with butter-poached lobster tails; 14 oz. bone-in dry-aged New York strip and eggs; and 8 oz. center-cut filet mignon and white cheddar hash browns. Mimosas also available.
Cru Food & Wine Bar at The Battery Atlanta is offering a Napa-style wine country Easter brunch. Guests can choose from items to build their own 3-course meal. Pair it with a $6 mimosa, Bellini or specialty brunch cocktail.
5Church Midtown’s Easter buffet will feature prime rib, ham, sweet potato casserole, French toast bread pudding and more. $55 adults, $20 for children.
Elevation Chophouse’s Easter menu includes choice of strawberry wedge salad or Vidalia onion bisque; sliced roast beef or whiskey maple glazed ham, roasted asparagus and carrots, potato wedges, cauliflower and/or Southern fried corn; strawberry mousse cake or Mil Chocolate pastry crunch cake. Children’s menu available. $1 adults, $17 per child ages 12 and under.
Hampton + Hudson is offering an Easter Brunch to go. Orders must be received by April 14. Menu features deviled eggs, bone-in ham chops, choice of two sides, cornbread and strawberry bread pudding. The meal is $55 for 2 people, $100 for four. They will also be open for brunch and offer drinks crafted for the holiday.
Juniper Cafe’s Easter Brunch will feature French Toast, Viet Hot Fried Chicken, Grilled Lemongrass Center Cut Pork Chop and a choice of Carrot Cake or Red Velvet cupcake. They will also have Easter egg painting for kids. Tickets are $40 per adult and $25 per child.
Lazy Betty in Candler Park will offer a five-course tasting menu on Easter Sunday. Highlights include egg custard with caviar, French omelets, Rutbot with hushpuppy panade, and braised collards and pot liqueur nage. Cost is $125 per person, plus $80 for wine pairings.
Local Three is offering a family-friendly Easter celebration with a two-course prix fixe brunch menu. A kids’ menu will also be available and there will be group Easter egg hunts on the patio. $44.93 adults, $15.93 children 12 and under.
Milton’s Cuisine and Cocktails in Alpharetta is offering a special menu for Easter. Starters include Piquillo pepper crab bisque, beet cured salmon tartar and sticky peanut butter-toffee beignets; entrees include croissant French toast, chicken fried BLT, shrimp and grits, blackened salmon, spiral cut ham and root beer-braised lamb; and dessert includes choice of warm carrot cake, blueberry crumb cake and turtle trifle jar. $49 adults, $24 for kids.
Petite Violette is serving a four-course holiday menu for Easter including soup, salad, choice of chicken cordon bleu or pan-seared sea bass and dessert. A childen’s menu is also available. $54.95 adults, $9.95 for children.
The Rowdy Tiger is offering biscuits and sausage gravy benedict, shrimp & grits with slow-roasted pork, buttermilk fried chicken with a savory red velvet waffle and more on Easter.
South City Kitchen in Smyrna is offering a prix-fixe menu for Easter. Menu items include fried green tomatoes, pan-fried chicken livers, Old Charleston She-Crab Soup, smoked trout dip, steak & eggs, pan-seared salmon, The King Biscuit, oyster mushroom etouffee, jumbo lump crab cake, mountain trout, and shrimp & March Hen Mill grits. $39 for adults, $19.50 for kids.
South Main Kitchen is offering a seasonal, Southern-inspired menu featuring honey butter fried chicken biscuits, deviled eggs, jam and ricotta toast, country pork steak, and ham and broccolini omelets on Easter Sunday. Reservations suggested.
The Southern Gentleman is offering a special three-course prix-fixe menu featuring deviled eggs, whipped ricotta toast, shrimp and grits, braised short rib hash and more. $49 adults, $24.50 for children.
Park Tavern in Piedmont Park is hosting an Easter brunch featuring a carving station, potatoes au gratin, cheese grits, salmon, chicken tenders, Belgium waffles, fresh-baked biscuits with sawmill gravy, Applewood smoked bacon, house salad, assorted desserts, Easter bubbles or mimosas.
