ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Atlanta is known for many things, including its culture and film industry — and now city leaders want it to be known for fashion, too.
Fulton County Director of Arts and Culture David Manuel came to Atlanta News First to discuss the upcoming FACES Of Fashion Art and Fashion Gala, which Manuel likens to the MET Gala. FACE stands for fashion, art, culture and education, according to Manuel.
The gala is on Saturday, Sept. 16 at the High Museum of Art. You can get tickets here.
