Latin Restaurant Week kicks off in Atlanta

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Today is the first day of Latin Restaurant Week in Atlanta!

The week’s founder, Karinn Chavarria, came to Atlanta News First to discuss its importance. Latin Restaurant Week originally started in Houston, Texas, but has since spread to cities nationwide, she said.

Mikiel Arnold with The Freakin Incan in Roswell and Luz Martinez with Taqueria La Luz in Atlanta also came to the show to share some food!

Despite its name, Latin Restaurant Week actually lasts two weeks, ending on Nov. 17. You can search for restaurants participating in the week here.
