Sean Garrett to speak at GSU’s Atlanta Hip Hop Archives launch

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - In honor of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary, Georgia State University has developed the Atlanta Hip Hop Archives — and Sean Garrett will be a keynote speaker at the launch!

Garrett, a Grammy Award-winning music producer with hits like Usher’s “Yeah!” under his belt, came to Atlanta News First to talk about the event. The archives look to preserve documents and stories related to hip-hop’s growth and development in Atlanta.

The launch is on Thursday, Nov. 9 at the Georgia State University Library from 4 - 9 p.m.
