Pride 2022 events in metro Atlanta

ATLANTA, Ga. (CBS46) - Atlanta celebrates Pride in October for several reasons. National Coming Out Day is in October, which celebrates the anniversary of the National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights. The warm summer temperatures in June are also a factor; the Atlanta Pride Parade was held in June until 2008 when drought forced it out of Piedmont Park. October has more suitable weather.

Peachtree TV will broadcast the Atlanta Pride Parade this year Oct. 9. You can also watch on YouTube and your favorite streaming platform (Apple, Roku, Android TV or Apple TV).
