ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Taste of Atlanta invites guests to sample diverse Westside restaurants during the Grand Tasting Westside event on July 20.
The event, which celebrates a handful of the city’s best chefs and restaurants, is a one-of-a-kind experience that supports the community.
Along with sharing the unique foods the city of Atlanta has to offer, Grand Tasting Westside will also highlight non-profits like Second Helping Atlanta. A portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to community partners.
Second Helpings Atlanta, one of the beneficiaries, works to uplift the Atlanta community by distributing surplus food to those in need. Through its efforts, the non-profit also helps Atlanta become more environmentally responsible.
Taste of Atlanta founder Dale Desena and Second Helpings Atlanta director Paul Clements talk about the upcoming event with Atlanta News First.
