ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - You may have seen Afro Unicorn characters on shirts or books in stores like Walmart, Target and Kohl’s — and now you’ll see the brand in the hair care aisle, too!
April Showers, creator of the Afro Unicorn brand, came to Atlanta News First to talk about the brand-new Afro Unicorn Magical Tresses hair care line. Showers is the first Black woman to own a licensed character brand sold in major retailers.
On Sunday, Showers will be at The Black Hair Experience for a Mini + Me holiday event from 1-4 p.m.
