Miss Cobb County teen talks dyslexia, building up learners with disabilities

Local teen advocated for dyslexia equality Miss Cobb County Teen Carrington Manous joined Atlanta News First to talk about her diagnosis and journey.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Research shows one in five students have a learning disability. Dyslexia happens to be the most common.

A senate bill in Georgia recently passed granting funds for free dyslexia testing for students in kindergarten through third grade.

Its passing is partly thanks to a tenth grader at Woodward Academy.
