ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Thursday is National Cook a Sweet Potato Day!
In honor of the event, Atlanta celebrity chef and cookbook author Kelli Ferrell came to Atlanta News First to show off her fried chicken and sweet potato pecan waffle dish. Ferrell is the owner of Nana’s Chicken & Waffles, a massively popular diner in McDonough.
Ferrell is hosting a cooking demo and pop-up shop at Ponce City Market’s Williams-Sonoma on Saturday from 4-6 p.m. You can follow her on social media here.
