Thousands of HBCU students, alumni expected for 20th annual Atlanta Greek Picnic Tiwa “Works” Williams, the event’s founder, came to Atlanta News First to talk about the picnic.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Thursday kicks off the 20th annual Atlanta Greek Picnic, a six-day event celebrating Greek life at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs)!

Tiwa “Works” Williams, the event’s founder, came to Atlanta News First to talk about the picnic. Running until Sunday, the event at Morris Brown College features ten get-togethers, from social hangouts and block parties to career fairs and mental health talks. Sororities and fraternities will even face off for a $10,000 prize at the Stroll Off dance competition!
