ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Set in 1948, “Seven Guitars” tells a timeless tale of love, loss and history — and it’s come to the New Marietta Theatre in the Square.
Play producer Princess Starr and Indya Bussey, who plays Vera, came to Atlanta News First to talk about the show. The Tony Award-winning production follows seven Black characters who have to come to terms with their friend’s untimely death.
Later this year, the same production group will also perform “King Hedley II,” which is about some of the same characters and their descendants 40 years later.
You can see “Seven Guitars” at the New Marietta Theatre in the Square through July 20. Click here for ticket information.
