ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Atlanta has long been home to Atlanta Black Pride weekend — but this year, it’s also welcoming Global Black Pride!
Pride organizer and TV personality Melissa Scott came to Atlanta News First to discuss some of the biggest events, from a festival at Piedmont Park to a Freedom March from Ansley Mall. Global Black Pride was born during the pandemic, and 2024 marks its first time in Atlanta and its second in-person event.
