ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Atlanta is home to the country’s largest free Pride festival — and the Atlanta Hawks will host a float at the event’s parade on Sunday!
Camye Mackey, the executive vice president and chief people, diversity and inclusion officer for the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena, came to Atlanta News First to talk about the appearance. The sports team partnered with BMW to create the float, which will feature a custom Atlanta Hawks Pride-themed wrap!
Atlanta Pride runs from Saturday, Oct. 12, to Sunday, Oct. 13, with the parade kicking off at noon on Sunday. Atlanta News First will cover the parade live on PeachtreeTV.
