Donnita Hathaway, Donny Hathaway’s daughter, Rayvene Whatley, a counselor, and actor Robert King Jr. came to Atlanta News First to talk about “The Voices of Donny Hathaway.” They said they hope the musical, which addresses Hathaway’s battle with paranoid schizophrenia and eventual suicide, will bring awareness to mental health.
