ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - More than 1 million people are living with HIV in the U.S. — and Georgia is one of the top states for new cases, according to KFF, a non-partisan organization for health research.

That’s why Crystal Farrow with AvitaCare Atlanta and Sybil Miller with SisterLove came to Atlanta News First to talk about their free HIV testing. The two highlighted the need for accessible care and prevention services, especially for women of color.

You can get tested at the AvitaCare Atlanta Community Education Room at 2140 Peachtree Road from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 6.
