ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - If you are heading out to the ballpark this season, leave your smokes at home.
The Atlanta Braves announced that they have removed the designated smoking area at the Third Base Gate.
The stadium has officially become smoke-free, they said, as the team prepares for the home opener on Friday against the Miami Marlins.
According to the Braves’ website, this includes electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco and vaporizers.
An organization, “Knock Tobacco Out of the Park,” said that AT&T Park in San Francisco was the first tobacco-free stadium in 2016.
