ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Usher will become the latest Atlanta music icon to receive his own bobblehead when the Braves celebrate Usher night on June 18.
The first 15,000 fans through the gates of the game against the New York Mets will receive a bobblehead designed by Usher featuring the “Peace Up, A-Town” gesture, the Braves said.

There will also be a food truck outside the first base gate with dishes inspired by Usher’s most iconic songs, including fried fish and grits, lemon pepper wet chicken wings and shrimp and grits.
June 18 will also be the first night fans can get co-branded Braves and Usher merchandise from the Braves Clubhouse Store.
The Usher bobblehead is just the latest in a series of Braves themed nights honoring Atlanta’s music scene. Previous bobbleheads have honored OutKast and Ludacris; last year, the Braves held the first Spencer Strider Vinyl Series night, featuring some of the Braves ace’s favorite local music. The second Spencer Strider Vinyl Series will be Aug. 9 against the Miami Marlins.
