ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The annual Juneteenth Atlanta Parade and Music Festival is this Saturday!

Juneteenth — on June 19 — commemorates the day the last enslaved people in the Confederacy learned about the Emancipation Proclamation.

Festival organizers say every year, the celebration gets even bigger. The parade goes through downtown and ends at Piedmont Park.
