ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A Cobb County police detective brought the heat during a track race against “the Freeze” during Sunday’s Braves game against the Phillies.

Ameerah Hardy-Dozier, who works for the Cobb County Police Department, hit the track strong, creating an impressive distance between her and her icy competition.

Hardy-Dozier crossed the finish line to a roar of applause from the audience and went home with an extra $100 prize.
