Music legends, actors and ex-baseball icons among those in the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game
ByEllie Parker
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game is one of the more overlooked parts of MLB All-Star Weekend. It lacks the highlight reel moments of its NBA counterpart, but often has a looser, more chaotic feel.
Two teams of celebrities will face off in a five-inning game of slow pitch softball at Truist Park, including former baseball stars, music legends and actors.
But don’t expect to see Atlanta legends launch one over the Truist Park wall. Special fences will be bought out and placed closer to the infield.
Atlanta rapper Jermaine Dupri will lead the American League team and former Braves All-Star Javy Lopez will the lead the National League.
The full rosters for each team can be found below.
