ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - For more than 20 years, the Georgia Alliance for Breast Cancer has raised millions of dollars to fund breast cancer education and care — and one of their biggest fundraisers is coming up in October.
Kristen Petillo, the alliance’s executive director, and Shelley Katzef, with sponsor Renasant Bank, came to Atlanta News First to discuss the Georgia 2-day Walk for Breast Cancer. Hundreds of people are expected to walk 30 miles, raising money and awareness of the disease.
