ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and two stars from the “Love and Hip-Hop” franchise are using the opportunity to honor survivors.
Karlie Redd and Yandy Smith-Harris came to Atlanta News First to talk about the first annual Courageous Awards, which will recognize a group who have survived hardships and now step up for others.
The Courageous Awards are on Wednesday at the Atlanta City Hall Council Chambers from 7-9 p.m. Click here to register for the event.
