Cellist OK-Cello brings storytelling through music at Atlanta’s SCAD Atlanta-based cellist Okorie Johnson will showcase his musical storytelling Thursday at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Atlanta-based cellist Okorie Johnson will showcase his musical storytelling Thursday at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Johnson, who’s stage name is OK-Cello, recently released his fourth studio album, “Funny How Things Work Out.”

The musician describes himself as a composer, looper and improviser who uses his cello to tell stories through music.

Ok-Cello joined Atlanta News First to talk about his upcoming performance at SCAD on Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
