ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — More than 400 Georgia students have more reasons to be joyful this holiday season thanks to the Dr. Annise Mabry Foundation.
Mabry herself came to Atlanta News First to talk about the foundation, which helps underserved and at-risk students earn their high school diplomas. One of its options, the Tiers Free Academy Homeschool Cooperative, is the state’s only alternative high school diploma program designed for sex trafficking survivors, homeless LGBTQ youth and high school dropouts.
