ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Businesses are honoring the life and legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. ahead of Monday’s federal holiday celebrating the Atlanta native.
Marcus Bar & Grille on Edgewood Avenue, located near Dr. King’s birth home, is offering special menu items for the holiday weekend. Chef Gary Caldwell came to Atlanta News First to talk about what guests can expect — including the special “King’s Legacy Platter.”
The restaurant will also host a “For the Love of the Dream” brunch buffet on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
