ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — As concerns over big tech and children’s mental health continue to grow nationally, one entrepreneur has been working on the issue for years — and now has a new platform to show for it.
Juliette Brindak Blake co-founded “Miss O and Friends” at age 16, building one of the biggest online communities for girls. Her early work helped inspire a YouTube Originals series aimed at boosting girls’ interest in computer science.
Now a mother herself, Blake has launched Moxies, a new platform built exclusively for tween girls and designed to be healthy and non-addictive. Blake came to Atlanta News First to talk about the platform and what parents can do to improve their child’s online life.
