ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Atlanta Braves host the Toronto Blue Jays at CoolToday Park on Thursday, and the game will be broadcast live on Gray Media.

Chris Sale will start for the Braves, with Spencer Strider expected to follow.

Toronto will counter with right-hander Dylan Cease on the mound.

Through two appearances this spring (4.2 innings), Sale has posted a 5.79 ERA with six strikeouts. Strider allowed one run in his lone appearance this spring, with his fastball averaging 93.1 mph.

More cuts

The Braves on Wednesday optioned right-hander Rolddy Muñoz to Triple-A and reassigned Garrett Baumann and Owen Murphy to minor league camp.

Muñoz made one appearance this spring, issuing three walks while recording just two outs. Baumann pitched well across two outings, recording five strikeouts in four innings of work. He did not issue any walks.

There are 59 players left in camp as of Wednesday. That total excludes Jurickson Profar, who was suspended 162 games — effective Friday — after testing positive for exogenous testosterone, his second suspension in under a year.
