ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Atlanta Braves home opener is March 27, 2026, and if you’re heading to Truist Park, parking is one of the first things you need to figure out, and one of the easiest places to lose money if you’re not careful.

Here’s what you need to know.

Buy in advance. It’s worth it

The Braves strongly recommend pre-purchasing parking before you arrive. Head to the Braves’ official website, where you’ll find a parking map showing all available lots. You can print it out or pull it up on your phone.

On the map, dark blue lots are open to everyone. These are located on Circle 75 Parkway and include Silver, Red, B9 and B11, sitting in the center field and left field areas relative to the stadium.

If you’d rather park behind home plate on the other side of I-75, there are three lots open for all home games, plus a fourth that opens for select games.

Tailgating is only allowed in lot 29. You can park there up to four hours before the first pitch. Keep in mind: only vehicles are allowed in designated spaces, and no tents are permitted.

You can also buy parking passes through third-party sites like StubHub, SeatGeek, and Vivid Seats, but expect to pay a premium. If you go that route, make sure your passes are electronic and verified before you complete the purchase.

Where not to buy parking passes

This is where it gets risky. Avoid buying parking passes from strangers on social media unless it’s someone you personally know from your neighborhood group.

The biggest red flag: sellers who ask you to send money first. Zelle and Venmo work like cash; there’s no buyer protection if something goes wrong. Always use a credit card through a verified or reputable third-party site. If the deal falls through, you have recourse.
