In the early days of Atlanta hip-hop, radio play was essential for artists to break through to the mainstream. Radio stations like Hot 107.9 and V103 played a major role in promoting Atlanta hip-hop artists and making their music accessible to a wider audience. We will also meet some of the people who have helped create a space for hip-hop on the Atlanta Radio Scene.
