Michael Abatti, a California farming mogul, is in custody after a Navajo County grand jury indicted him in the murder of his estranged wife, Kerri Ann Abatti. Investigators say she was shot and killed at her Pinetop home on Nov. 20, and allege he traveled from El Centro, California, to Arizona and returned the same night. He was arrested in El Centro and is awaiting extradition to Arizona.
