Indiana’s only known Boston Tea Party participant honored in Elkhart County
More than 100 people gathered Saturday at Bonneyville Cemetery to honor William Tuffs, the only known Indiana man who took part in the Boston Tea Party. The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum placed a commemorative marker at Tuffs’ grave during the ceremony — the first such marker placed in Indiana.
