Broussard sells memorial bricks to fund veterans monument

A veterans memorial under construction in Broussard is being funded in part through the sale of engraved bricks. The three-acre site sits within the Broussard Sports Complex. City officials are selling the bricks as a way to pay for the memorial, which is designed to honor the sacrifice of men and women who served in the armed forces.
