Diocese of Lafayette places priest on leave amid decades-old misconduct claims
The Diocese of Lafayette has placed Rev. Barry Crochet on administrative leave after learning of allegations of misconduct dating back many years, according to the diocese’s Office of Communications. According to the diocese’s website, Crochet is the pastor at St. Joseph Church and Our Lady of Victory Church, both in Loreauville.
